Fertility Needs

In order to maximize the full potential of the corn plant the 3 major nutrients (N,P,K) must be sufficient in supply.  While certain hybrids can make do with less-than-optimum fertility in one or more of these nutrients, others may provide high yields only with adequate fertility.

M = Moderate, H = High

Frogeye Leafspot

This fungus produces abundant spores in warm, humid weather, creating cycles of leaf infection throughout the season.  This fungus can be seed or soil borne.
