Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® Soybeans The Next Level of Weed Control

Introducing the next level of weed control for growers, Stine® Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans — offering tolerance to both glyphosate and dicamba herbicides.

Choose the next level of weed control. Choose Stine® Roundup Ready 2 Xtebd® soybeans. A new soybean option for Stine growers in 2017 (pending regulatory approvals), Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans will feature Genuity® Roundup Ready 2 Yield® technology, providing tolerance to both dicamba and Roundup® (glyphosate) agircultural herbicides. With Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans, growers can achieve consistent, flexible weed control, especially for tough-to-manage glyphosate-resistant broad leaf weeds.

Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans, combined with Roundup Xtend® herbicide (also pending regulatory approvals), will make up the Roundup Ready Xtend® Crop System, which will enable high yield and exceptional performance with maximum flexibility for weed control.

Advanced Chemistry Options

With the Roundup Ready Xtend® Crop System, Stine growers can choose from two herbicides that can be used on Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans.

Roundup Xtend® Herbicide with Vaporgrip™ Technology

Once approved, Roundup Xtend® herbicide with VaporGripTM technology will be a premix of Monsanto’s new low-volatility dicamba and glyphosate, which can be used pre- or post-emergence. The enhanced, low-volatility formulation will give growers extended application and planting flexibility and lengthen the window for post-emergence applications.

XtendiMax™ Herbicide with Vaporgrip Technology

A dicamba-only formulation, XtendiMaxTM herbicide will also be offered to growers. Once regulatory approvals for this formulation are received, XtendiMaxTM herbicide with VaporGripTM technology can be used for pre-, at and post-planting. According to Monsanto, VaporGripTM can help reduce volatility in comparison to other commercially available products that contain DMA dicamba.
