Tyler DuBay
Soybean Technical Agronomist
Joined Stine Seed Company
With a brief stint as a Stine research associate from 2012–2014, Tyler DuBay is back on the Stine team as a soybean technical agronomist. Tyler’s background in soybean research positions him well for his career in agronomy, as he’s tasked with evaluating our research and development plots in Illinois and conducting soybean product evaluation during the summer. He also analyzes data collected throughout the growing season and focuses on product training for current and future products.
Tyler has been surrounded by corn and soybeans his whole life, even spending time pollinating and detasseling corn when he was 14. He received two degrees from Iowa State University — a B.A. in agricultural studies and a masters in plant breeding. His No. 1 goal as a Stine agronomist is to bring awareness and knowledge internally and externally as to why and how Stine has and will continue to have the best soybean genetics in the industry.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys spending time with his three daughters, Aspyn, Brynn and Jocelyn, and his wife, Janelle. His hobbies include golfing and traveling.
