Join Stine in celebrating Women in Agriculture Day in Iowa next Thursday, March 25. For the past two years, Stine, in collaboration with the Iowa FFA Foundation, the Iowa 4-H Program and FarmHer, has worked with Governor Kim Reynolds’ office to secure a proclamation to mark the statewide celebration. Stine encourages individuals interested in celebrating Women in Agriculture Day in Iowa to share their stories and participate in the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #TogetHER4Ag.

While Stine always seeks ways to honor its employees, partners and other ag industry professionals, the company is proud to pay homage to women in agriculture workers at the crossroads of Women’s History Month and National Ag Week, which kicks off on March 21.

More than 50,000 women serve in leadership, support and influential decision-making roles in Iowa across the state’s 86,000 farms. Women are making a difference in all areas of the ag industry, from research, farming and sales to agribusiness, education, trade and more.

“We’re proud to recognize all women in ag for their accomplishments,” notes Jess Drake, marketing coordinator for Stine. “Our partnership with FarmHer, the Iowa FFA Foundation and the Iowa 4-H Program enables Stine to elevate, empower and educate women in agriculture throughout the industry. We thank the governor for her support in establishing a Women in Agriculture Day in Iowa.”

In addition to the proclamation, Stine has been celebrating women in agriculture throughout March by publishing blogs and videos highlighting inspirational women in the industry, in addition to imagery depicting the various women who work for the company and beyond. Follow along as we continue to celebrate their accomplishments by engaging with our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube pages.
