Building a smarter season: Anderson Farms begins with Stine’s Yield Maximizer Program

April 2026

At Anderson Farms near McCanna, North Dakota, preparing for the season has always been about making the right decisions early and adjusting as the year unfolds.

Building a smarter season: Anderson Farms begins with Stine’s Yield Maximizer Program

After several years of success with Stine® hybrids, James Anderson is taking another step with us by participating in our Yield Maximizer Program for the first time.

Anderson Farms has relied on Stine genetics for years, with hybrids like Stine brand 9215-20 and 9213-G performing really well last year across his acres.

“I’ve had great luck with Stine. Some of my favorite hybrids are Stine hybrids.”

That history of performance laid the groundwork for something more: moving beyond product selection to integrating Stine’s agronomy, data and planning into his decisions.

From product to full-season partnership

The Yield Maximizer Program is designed to support growers through every phase of the season, from preplant planning to postharvest evaluation.

For Anderson, that begins with working alongside Stine agronomist Susan Hart to better understand how each decision impacts performance across his operation.

“It’s great to have that second opinion,” Anderson says. “Susan brings a lot of value to the table.”

This season marks his first time participating in the program, and the focus is on learning. He looks forward to evaluating what’s working, identifying opportunities and building a stronger plan for the future.

“The more I learn, the more I might change going forward,” says Anderson. “There’s always room for improvement.”

Data-driven decisions in the field

One of the core strengths of the Yield Maximizer Program is the depth of data behind every recommendation.

Through Stine’s Product Development Plot (PDP) program and Elite Yield Trials, tens of thousands of data points are generated each year, helping guide hybrid selection, placement and management decisions.

That data is already being put to work on Anderson’s farm.

In 2026, he is partnering with Stine on a TS201 trial in a corn-on-corn field, using the program to evaluate performance and better understand how different strategies perform in his environment.

Support beyond the sale

The Yield Maximizer Program doesn’t stop at planning. From stand counts and emergence evaluations to midseason agronomic recommendations, our team remains actively involved.

That level of support is something Anderson has already experienced firsthand.

When an issue arose last fall, Stine responded quickly, arriving on the farm within 24 hours to diagnose the situation alongside him.

“We had an issue, and Stine treated us right. They followed up and stood behind it.”

Looking at the full season

As the season progresses, the Yield Maximizer Program will continue to guide decisions from planting through harvest.

At the end of the year, Anderson will work with his Stine team to evaluate results and refine his approach for the future.

The goal isn’t just one good season but building a system that improves over time.

Looking ahead

For Anderson Farms, 2026 is about building on what’s already working while gaining new insight through the Yield Maximizer Program.

With trusted genetics, added agronomic support and a deeper understanding of his operation, Anderson is positioned to make more informed decisions this season and beyond.
